Ty Anderson

Ty, who is responsible for championing the transition of Andcor's next generation of growth, directs and manages client accounts and is responsible for leading professional search, candidate assessment and project management.

In addition, he is intimately involved in the day-to-day business operations and the financial management of Andcor's equity portfolio.

Ty worked for Andcor as an Associate from 1997-2000 and rejoined the company in 2003. Prior to 2003, he gained valuable experience working at Milestone Growth Fund, Inc., a Minnesota-based venture capital firm focused on providing equity and debt financing to minority businesses. Previously he worked in the communications and product marketing groups at Stellent, Inc., a global provider of enterprise content management solutions (now Oracle).

Ty earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and is the son of Andcor's founder, Dennis D. Anderson.

He is an active member in the Minnesota Chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and on the Advisory Boards of Finnegan's Irish Amber, Medisyn Technologies, and Jump Technologies (JumpTech).

When spare time allows, Ty enjoys traveling, boating on Lake Minnetonka, downhill skiing, books of all genres, running and other workout routines (e.g. walking Dylan), scuba diving, and attending Vikings, Gophers, and Twins games.
