Andcor in the News - Twin Cities Business
Ty Anderson profiled in Twin Cities Business feature "200 Minnesotans You Should Know"
Introduced By Dale Kurschner, Twin Cities Business, December, 2011
There are the usual "people to know" -- the ones that show up in the top half of local Top 25 lists or are most cited when you ask whom you should network with. And then there are the other people to know -- the ones who are, in many ways, more active in shaping our communities, our social fabric, our state's economy, and our sense of identity.
Ty Anderson, Managing principal, Andcor
Anderson became managing principal of Wayzata-based Andcor in 2008 upon the death of his father, company founder Dennis Anderson. The younger Andcor has refocused the recruiting firm to concentrate on finding entrepreneurial leadership for high-growth visionary firms, primarily in Minnesota. "People are the most critical element to an emerging company's success," says Anderson, who has grown his own staff to one part-time and five full-time employees as well as three adjunct human resource consultants. Anderson's strategy to focus on high-growth firms and hire mostly Minnesota talent has resulted in revenue growth of more than 300 percent since he took over.
